Complete Coil-Over Kit –

The Dinan Coil-Over suspension system is a complete suspension solution, featuring front strut assemblies, front camber plates, front and rear springs, rear shocks, rear spring ride height adjusters, and a set of front sway bar end links. The coil-over kit features linear rate springs that are significantly stiffer than stock, with a 93% increase in stiffness at the front and a 58% increase at the rear. Linear rate springs exhibit a consistent response to changes in weight or force, meaning that the amount of displacement is directly proportional to the change in weight or force applied, resulting in increased predictability.

Threaded Ride Height Collars (front and rear) –

The system allows for height adjustability through the use of threaded collars on the front strut assemblies and rear spring adjusters. These collars allow for precise adjustments to the vehicle’s ride height by changing the position of the spring perch. The system can lower the front by up to 1.7″ and the rear by up to 1.1″, (although Dinan recommends a moderate lowering of 0.75″ (20mm) for optimal ride quality).  Conversely, it can also lift the front by up to 0.5″ and the rear by up to 1.0″ over the stock height.

Shock Rebound Adjustment-

The DINAN coil-over system offers a wider range of rebound adjustment, with 32 levels of adjustment available. Drivers have the ability to fine tune the stiffness or softness of the rebound stroke, in order to adjust the suspension to their specific preferences and driving conditions or ride quality desired. Significantly, unlike many other MINI coil-over kits, the shock adjustment knobs are easily reached, the front adjustment knob on the top with the camber plate, and the rear at the top of the shock inside the rear wheel well.

Integrated Bump stops-

The system features integrated bump stops to minimize jarring or damage to the shock when driving on less-than-ideal road surfaces and the shock nears “bottoming out”. These bump stops are made of a stiffer rubber compound, strategically positioned within the shock body. As the suspension compresses and nears the end of suspension travel, the bump stop gradually engages, providing increasing resistance to further compression. This progressive resistance helps to cushion the impact and prevent a harsh bottoming out sensation, while also contributing to an overall more predictable suspension.
