AWE introduces new exhausts for Audi S5

Here is the press release from AWE, but there are some key points we want to highlight –

– Two versions of the exhaust for the Audi S5 – a loud / track version, and a Touring / Street version

– The exhaust offers two (2) tip color options….diamond black or chrome

– The tips are ADJUSTABLE…this is HUGE…one of the few that allow us to align the tips properly in the installation.  This is usually the biggest complaint from customers of other exhaust systems…they love the construction, quality, but the tips are never perfectly aligned with the bumper and the exhaust opening.  But the AWE allows us to do that adjustment, in all directions.

The new S5 4.2L Touring Exhaust is the more civilized member of the family. In addition to the central muffler from the Track Exhaust, our Touring system features an x-pipe for enhanced exhaust tone and specially designed Helmholtz Resonators.

Hand-crafted, every detail was labored over to ensure maximum performance and longevity:

• +18hp, +12tq at the crank
• Available with Polished Silver or Diamond Black adjustable tips
• Increased pipe diameter to 2.5” to better let the engine exhale

Tips.

The S5 4.2L Touring Exhaust comes with 80mm Slash Cut Tips, available in standard Polished Silver or our noted Diamond Black finish. The tips sport engraved AWE Tuning logos and are double walled to ensure a mirror polish, even under hard usage. Each tip is individually adjustable, so stagger and depth into bumper can be set according to personal taste.
