This has to be one of the hottest things we have seen and tried.  When MINI came out w the MINI R53 GP, the one piece that everyone craved was the rear wing.  This was no pretender…this was an incredibly well designed wing that looked great and was very functional.  But, to get the GP wing, you had to have the whole rear hatch assembly, and that just made it impossible to do.

But, along comes M7 Tuning, and they have produced an amazing wing.

Available in 3 different construction combinations to satisfy anyone’s needs: 
– Fiberglass Base with Aluminum Wing, 11.25 lbs ($599) 
– Fiberglass Base with Carbon Fiber Wing, 9.10 lbs ($899) 
– Carbon Fiber Base with Carbon Fiber Wing, 8.85 lbs ($1199, shown in image) 

With the M7 C-Wing, there’s no need to worry about cutting or drilling into the body of the car. The base of the C-Wing replaces the stock wing element and attaches to the vehicle via pre-existing mounting positions (Fiberglass bases come in a black gelcoat that is ready to be prepped and painted, and as with other solutions from BRR, we can do this as a turnkey solution and color match to whatever you need). 
All wings come with aluminum end plates in a semi-gloss black finish. These end plates offer 3 points of adjustability to customize the amount of downforce.   You can run w little downforce when just driving around town, and then make the adjustment you need when at the track or doing spirited driving (and, if you think a rear wing on a front wheel drive car doesn’t make sense, then you haven’t been in a MINI on the track…come ride w us, and you will get a first hand experience of why this is such a great solution, besides looking killer).

While the wing is pretty beefy, there is no issue with opening or closing the rear hatch for access to the back of the vehicle. 

Track junkies: this is the perfect aerodynamic finisher to the Rear Lower Diffuser Tunnels and their Carbon Fiber Front Splitter.   Will have another post on those wonderful pieces too.

We are installing this on one of our customer R56 MINI’s, and also on our R53 MCS (and we should have this installed prior to the March Track Day at Thunderhill).  This is crazy awesome…
