2013 Checkered Flag Racing Association GT-1 Champion
Daren Passolt, a BRracing Motorsports customer, has won the 2013 Checkered Flag Racing Association (CFRA) GT-1 championship. Not only did he win that, he also won the 2013 Qualifying championship (best cumulative qualifying results from all events in the 2013 season). As we have said many times, competing in any sport takes a high level of commitment. To then compete to try to win a championship, at any level, takes a huge commitment. But to WIN, requires that everything come together. Remember, all the other competitors are also trying to win….trying hard. Congrats Daren, a HUGE ACHIEVEMENT!
Daren became a BRR Motorsport customer in early 2013. He had driven many track events and DE events prior to 2013, but was now looking to move up to the next level and compete. BRR worked with Daren all thru the year, providing the setup and enhancements to match his driving style and needs. BRR provided setup, testing, and instruction, combined with our knowledge of tracks and setup, and the results were quickly generated, and we improved lap times and consistency all thru the year.
