As the saying goes, great places are made by having great people.  We are BRracing fully believe in that, as everyone on our team is far more than just another employee, we are all passionate about cars, and have extensive experience  in all elements that go far beyond the traditional technician.

We also want to keep adding to the scope and diversity of what we can deliver at BRracing, so that we can more completely meet the needs of our customers, as we strive to be the one stop shop for ALL our customer needs.  You depend on us for expertise and knowledge, and we want to be the best you can find.

To that end, we are very excited to announce the addition of Brian Smith and Ricardo Ramires to our team.  Both of them have the key ingredient that we want to add to the resource pool at BRracing…..years of experience and being the best in their roles, but also direct motorsport experience.

Brian has over 20 years of direct automotove experience, plus has worked on many race teams.  He has crewed for IMSA race teams, American Le Mans race teams, SCCA race teams, and even participated as crew for the Le Mans 24 hr race with the Panoz team.  Most recently Brian has been crewing for American Le Mans teams (Porsche GT3-C teams) and Speed World Challenge GT teams.  As a race crew member, he has been fabricator, fueler, tire technician, as well as general mechanic.  The teams he has participated with are not just players, but the leaders in the series.  This leadership and expertise is just what we wanted to add to the BRracing group, to bring that level of knowledge and background in troubleshooting and implementation of all automotive solutions.

Ricardo also has over 20 years of direct automotove experience, plus has worked on many race teams while also currently competing himself.  He has many years of experience in working on forced induction cars (turbo and supercharged), which is going to be critical in the coming years, as the drive to produce more “green” solutions will require some form of forced induction on the motors and cars.  This leadership and expertise is just what we wanted to add to the BRracing group, to bring that level of knowledge and background in troubleshooting and implementation of all automotive solutions.

But, like the foundation of BRracing, we don’t just build cars for others, we race and develop the cars ourselves, We know, from first hand experience what works, how it works, why it works, and what doesn’t. This is not something you learn in a book or from traditional car service education, this is living the role.  Brian and Ricardo both bring that element as well, bringing the driving seat experience, where they have competed in various racing series, and Ricardo current driving in one of the series today.

Brian will serve as the Senior Engineer for BRracing for VW/Audi/Porsche, overseeing all day to day technical work and projects, while also lending key skills to our more complex projects.

Ricardo will serve as the Senior Engineer for BRracing for BMW/MINI, overseeing all day to day technical work and projects, while also lending key skills to our more complex projects.

BRracing was active in driving events, road racing, club racing, and autocross in the last year, now look for us to expand our motor sports activities beyond our current customer “arrive and drive” program.

Come meet both Brian and Ricardo at our expanded facility, and see our new machine shop area….what can we build or develop for you?
